On July 17, 2015, ZimPapers published a story in which it claimed Rita Chinyoka was fired from her position as Publisher of Alpha Media Holdings boss. The story was published based on information provided by a source, which is untrue and all the claims made therein unsubstantiated. Zimpapers and The Herald have since retracted the story
